I thought I was going to have to start hunting antivaxxers down, for a minute there. I mean that literally. Like 'I was making plans' literally. Because yesterday, you see, we thought our eleven month-old had contracted the once-nigh-exterminated Measles!
It turns out there's a common childhood disease called Roseola that starts with a fever, and ends with a bunch of red bumps all over the skin. Just like Measles. Exactly like Measles in the mind of a parent who's only read about what Measles looks like, in fact!
So the crisis is averted, and I'm not going to go postal. Yet…
